The Local Police, Firefighters, and National Police intervened in a Castelló de la Plana parking lot after ten extinguishers were emptied over several vehicles, causing damage and significant distress among owners.

Owners of spaces in an underground parking lot near Avenida del Mar, managed by a private company in Castelló de la Plana, reported this Sunday the emptying of at least ten extinguishers over several parked cars. This action resulted in vehicles being covered in chemical powder, water, foam, and nitrogen, causing considerable upset due to the damage sustained.
Police sources confirmed that on Saturday afternoon, officers from the Local Police, Firefighters, and National Police responded to the underground parking lot, alerted to what might have been a fire. Upon arrival, agents ruled out a fire, realizing it was an act of vandalism, as they found several empty extinguishers, with no injuries reported.

"This is outrageous. We pay 1,500 euros for two cars and we find them like this."

an affected owner
An affected owner expressed concern about the lack of security in the parking lot, stating that "anyone can enter and the cars are not protected." She recounted that another user saw a group of young people running out and laughing about what they had done on Saturday afternoon, between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
Additionally, mattresses and belongings of transients have been observed in this parking lot. This is not the first time that problems with squatters have been reported in parking lots managed by this company, as this newspaper previously reported regarding the parking lots at Plaza Clavé and the Provincial Hospital.
