The town of Utiel has taken a step forward in its housing policy with the awarding of the project drafting for the construction of 30 affordable rental homes in the La Celadilla area.

The initiative, promoted by Casa 47, a state entity attached to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda, aims to facilitate access to decent housing for citizens. The contract for the project drafting has been awarded to a Temporary Union of Companies (U.T.E.) for an amount of 136,661.40 euros, excluding taxes.
The development will be built on a plot of 738.33 square meters located on Tejeda Avenue. The projected building will have four floors and a flat walkable roof, conceived as a common space to foster neighborhood coexistence.
The architectural design prioritizes integration with the surroundings and the habitability of the homes. The block opens towards a landscaped area and takes advantage of its southwest orientation to improve natural lighting. Additionally, it incorporates a central circulation axis that facilitates ventilation and lighting through vertical patios connecting all floors.
The homes will be distributed around this axis and the longitudinal facades, ensuring cross-ventilation in all properties, which will contribute to improving energy efficiency and interior comfort. This development will permanently be part of the state's affordable housing stock.
