A truck accident in the Albacete area has caused a massive power outage affecting approximately 14,000 users in the towns of Requena and Utiel, in the Plana de Utiel region, leaving them without electricity since the afternoon.

The incident occurred around 4:30 PM, when the vehicle collided with a 132 kV very high voltage power line. This event directly impacted the substations responsible for distributing electricity to both Valencian localities, which remained without service hours after the incident.
