This service, which complements the collection of residual (grey bin) and organic (brown bin) waste fractions, will allow citizens to deposit waste not suitable for regular street containers. The main objective is to increase source separation and prevent these materials from contaminating if disposed of incorrectly.
Among the waste that can be recycled at the mobile eco-park are fluorescent lights and bulbs, metal and plastic coffee capsules, aerosols, small electronic devices (such as mobile phones or cables), batteries, and vegetable oils. The initiative aims to offer a practical solution for the management of these materials.
The service began last week in Caudete de las Fuentes and will continue its tour through the region. This week, the mobile eco-park will visit various locations with the support of environmental educators. On Tuesday, it will be from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Fuenterrobles market. On Wednesday, May 13, from 10 AM to 2 PM in Las Monjas (Lucía Garrido Pardo avenue) in Venta del Moro. On Thursday, May 14, from 10 AM to 2 PM in Los Marcos (park corner C/ Ángeles Custodios with C/ Utiel) in Venta del Moro. On Friday, May 15, from 10 AM to 2 PM in Jaraguas (Plaza San Francisco Javier) in Venta del Moro. Finally, on Monday, May 18, from 10 AM to 2 PM in Casas del Rey (C/ Gervasio Haya, opposite the bar) in Venta del Moro.
Citizens can consult the full schedule and obtain more information about this new service on the Mancomunidad's social media, at the profile @TierradelVinoSostenible.
