Representatives of the municipal corporation of Vila-real, led by Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Equality, Maria Fajardo, observed a minute of silence this Thursday condemning the murder of a woman and her son in Dolores, victims of gender-based violence.

The gathering took place in the plenary hall exceptionally due to the installation of a stage in the main square. Political representatives from other municipalities and entities also attended the event.

The City Council thus joined the call promoted by the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces and the Generalitat Valenciana to show institutional rejection of this new case of gender-based violence.
