The incident, a head-on collision, was reported at 7:50 AM at kilometer 970 of the aforementioned road. Sources from the Castellón Traffic Civil Guard confirmed the details of the crash.
Firefighters from the Plana Baixa park had to intervene to extricate three individuals who were trapped in the vehicles. The seriously injured man was urgently transferred to the Hospital General de Castelló.
Additionally, two other individuals suffered minor injuries and were treated and transported to La Plana Hospital in Vila-real for medical attention.
