A truck fire on the AP-7 near Almenara has caused significant traffic complications in the Valencia direction since early Friday, with queues extending up to three kilometers.

The incident occurred around 7:00 AM this Friday, when the vehicle came to occupy the right lane at kilometer 465 of the highway. Initially, the incident had been located in the municipality of Sagunto, but its location in Almenara, in the province of Castellón, was later confirmed.
The presence of the damaged truck has led to a narrowing of traffic in this section of the AP-7, one of the main connection routes along the Mediterranean coast, slowing down the passage of vehicles heading south. The situation has worsened throughout the morning, with the fire confirmed as the cause of the obstruction.
As of now, the exact circumstances that led to the event are unknown, and no personal injuries have been reported. Authorities advise drivers in the area to exercise extreme caution and to check traffic conditions before starting their journey, as delays could vary depending on the progress of recovery efforts and the volume of vehicles.
