This significant investment, channeled through agreements and subsidies, underscores the municipal commitment to promoting healthy habits and the development of young athletes. The measure consolidates a sports model that seeks to provide resources and stability to local entities.

A total of 18 clubs and sports associations will receive municipal financial support, including a new entity, the Club Desplome Onda, which joins the list of beneficiaries. Among the clubs receiving these grants are the Club Ciclista Sepelaco, Club Amics Handbol Onda, Club Baloncesto Onda, Club Atletismo Onda, Club Fútbol Sala Navarti, Club Deportivo Onda, Club d’Esports Adaptats Adaponda, Club Gimnasia Gym-Sport Onda, Club Pilotari Onda, Club Natació Onda, Club Esportiu Vila d’Onda, Club Motorsports Onda, Club de Campo, Club de Tennis Taula Santísimo Salvador, Club Cazadores S. Roque Onda, Club Patinaje Ondawheelz, and the Club de Tiro Olímpico El Halcón de Onda.
Beyond direct aid, the overall budget for the Sports area for 2026 amounts to 1,377,544 euros. This sum will be allocated to the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of municipal sports facilities, with 82,000 euros for repairs and maintenance, and 20,000 euros for sports equipment. Additionally, 135,500 euros will be dedicated to developing activities promoted by minority clubs and 619,794 euros for the provision of sports services.
The council has also reserved 20,000 euros in open-call subsidies for new projects, 25,000 euros in scholarships for elite athletes, and 5,000 euros in aid for women's sports, thereby strengthening sports projection and equal opportunities in Onda.
