The Onda City Council has held institutional and cultural events to commemorate the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia and the International LGTBI+ Pride Day.

The Onda City Council reaffirmed its commitment to human rights this midday. Residents, social groups, and political representatives gathered at El Pla for the institutional event marking the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia. During the gathering, a manifesto against discrimination based on sexual orientation was read.
The Councilor for Equality, Marta Villanueva, advocated for a society "more just, open, and inclusive." The day of activism continues this afternoon at 7:00 PM in the Teatro Mónaco, which will host the monologue Género y figura by artist Vidda Priego.
This initiative is part of the municipal campaign Onda tan diversa como tú (Onda as diverse as you), a cultural and awareness program extending through May and June.
The next major event will be on Saturday, June 20th, at the Font de Dins. Starting at 7:00 PM, this historic site will host the Great Pride Festival, featuring improvisation theater, interactive activities with prizes, and an Rainbow Point. The evening will conclude with a concert by singer Hugo Marlo.
Finally, on Friday, June 26th, at 12:00 PM, El Pla will host another institutional event to commemorate the International LGTBI+ Pride Day.
