The program, which began this Monday, is driven by the Health Council together with the City Council, local associations, and municipal health centers. Activities will run throughout the week, providing proposals for all citizens.
One of the main attractions of this edition is a talk that will take place on Friday at the Teatro Mónaco. Titled Humor and Dissemination, a doctor and popularizer, known for his significant social media presence, will combine science and entertainment to bring health closer to the public in an accessible way.
During the inaugural day, participatory activities and workshops were held in health centers and municipal buildings. These proposals focused on promoting physical and mental well-being, with talks on breastfeeding or postural hygiene for musicians, delivered by professionals in a learning environment.
“"From this municipal government, we are very committed to all initiatives that allow us to bring health closer to citizens from a more accessible, participatory, and understandable approach for everyone. The involvement of the population shows that we are on the right track to consolidate healthy lifestyle habits in Onda and improve quality of life."
Health Week will continue with a comprehensive program covering topics such as nutrition, physical activity, mental health, disease prevention, and education on healthy habits. Workshops, healthy routes, informative sessions, sports activities, and educational proposals will be organized, all aimed at reinforcing the importance of incorporating health into daily life.
The program will conclude on the weekend with outdoor activities, highlighting the role of the natural environment as a key space for physical and emotional well-being. All information about Health Week and registrations can be found on the municipal website.
