The Health Week, organized by the Health Council in conjunction with the City Council, local associations, and health centers, will run throughout the week. The inaugural day, held this Monday, included various activities designed to promote well-being.
One of the main attractions of this edition is the talk titled Humor and Dissemination, scheduled for Friday at the Teatro Mónaco. This conference will be delivered by a renowned popularizer, followed by nearly a million people on social media, who will combine science and entertainment to bring health closer to the public in an accessible and engaging way.
During the initial day, participatory activities and workshops were conducted in health centers and municipal buildings. These initiatives focused on promoting physical and mental well-being, including talks on breastfeeding and postural hygiene for musicians, led by professionals in an environment of coexistence and learning.
“"From this municipal government, we are very committed to all initiatives that allow us to bring health closer to citizens from a more accessible, participatory, and understandable approach for everyone. The involvement of the population demonstrates that we are on the right track to consolidate healthy lifestyle habits in Onda and improve quality of life."
The Health Week program will continue with a wide range of activities covering nutrition, physical activity, mental health, disease prevention, and education on healthy habits, aimed at all audiences. Additionally, workshops, healthy routes, informative sessions, sports activities, and educational proposals will reinforce the central message of the initiative: the importance of incorporating health into daily life.
The week will conclude on the weekend with outdoor activities, highlighting the role of the natural environment as a key space for physical and emotional well-being. All information about the program and registrations can be found on the municipal website.
