The Onda City Council has unveiled two major taurine attractions for the 2026 Fair: the bull 'Bellotito' from the renowned Partido de Resina ranch and one of the bull runs featuring the prestigious La Quinta ranch.

The Onda Fair for 2026 is beginning to take shape with the announcement of two prominent names in the bullfighting scene. The council has revealed that the bull 'Bellotito', number 18, from the Partido de Resina line, and one of the bull runs to be led by the prestigious La Quinta ranch, will be featured in the upcoming patron saint festivities. These selections reinforce Onda's aim to remain a benchmark for 'bou al carrer' (bulls in the street).
The Councilor for Festivals and Traditions, Sergio Puig, announced these names. 'Bellotito' belongs to Partido de Resina, a ranch considered among the most important in Spanish bullbreeding for its personality and tradition, heir to the legendary Pablo Romero brand. Meanwhile, La Quinta is currently one of the most valued ranches by aficionados for the seriousness and performance of its bulls.
The decision to include these two ranches was made in consensus with the Festes Board, which unanimously opted to elevate the quality of the taurine lineup. The Onda City Council thus maintains a working strategy focused on quality, variety, and the presence of recognized ranches, aiming to offer a robust and attractive program.
Puig emphasized that 'the Onda Fair continues to consolidate itself thanks to a firm commitment to quality and to keeping alive a tradition deeply rooted in our city.' He added that 'we work year-round to put together a powerful, varied, and attractive taurine program, featuring renowned ranches that generate excitement among fans from all over Spain'.
The Onda Fair, recently declared a Festival of Regional Tourist Interest, seeks to combine tradition, passion, safety, and festive appeal. The taurine program, which will include further announcements soon, aims to enhance the city's social, cultural, and economic impact, attracting thousands of fans and solidifying the municipality's recognition in the taurine field.
