The Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FVMP) held the VIII edition of the Good Governance Awards at the IVAM in Valencia. In this biennial gala, which recognizes awards for the years 2024 and 2025, the Nules City Council, through its Tourism department, was awarded in the Tourism 2024 category.
The recognized project is "Concerts in the War Vestiges of Nules", an initiative that, according to the FVMP, stands out for its "capacity to dynamize and structure war tourism with an innovative project". This initiative, conceived by the Tourism and Heritage department and executed by the company Roselles a Tempo, consists of a series of concerts that include guided tours.
The objective is for attendees to learn about the course and effects of the Spanish Civil War in the municipality, while enjoying concerts with various musical instruments in the historical vestiges themselves.
“"This award, along with those previously granted to us, confirms our good work in tourism and heritage, and motivates us to continue on this path that we projected in 2019, with the main objective of creating a unique tourist offer and externalizing it."
The FVMP Good Governance Awards are aimed at municipal best practices and seek to promote the quality of public policies at the local level. They represent the commitment of Valencian municipalism to achieve responsible, open, effective local governments adapted to social needs.
