The Nules City Council is organizing the third edition of its “Som Talent Nules” Employment Forum on Thursday, May 7, with the goal of expanding job opportunities and connecting companies with job seekers.

This event, already consolidated after the success of its first two editions, will take place at the Multifunctional Venue in Nules, from 9 AM to 2 PM. The initiative seeks to strengthen the connection between the business fabric of La Plana Baixa and individuals looking for employment.
For this edition, the forum already features 82 active job offers. Additionally, it will provide advisory spaces, practical workshops, and the opportunity for direct interviews with participating companies. Those interested in participating in the selection interviews must register in advance through the official forum website, with the deadline for completion being May 4.

"This initiative once again positions itself as a key tool to improve the employability of residents and boost the local economy."

the Councilor for Employment Policies
The Councilor for Employment Policies highlighted the municipal commitment to employment and training. She noted that the unemployment rate in Nules stands at 5.27%, a figure lower than the regional, provincial, and autonomous community average of 8.13%. Despite this, she pointed out that much remains to be done to further reduce the number of unemployed individuals.
Currently, the municipality records 488 unemployed people, and the City Council allocates 200,000 euros to various employment programs and subsidies. The council participates in several initiatives funded by LABORA, such as Talent Jove, Acción Inserta, Escuela Taller, and Taller de Empleo, totaling an investment of over 2.7 million euros. These programs combine training and real work experience, involving 100 student-workers, in addition to teaching, administrative, and management staff.
