“"This is one of Nules' most popular festivals, with a great tradition in the parade, religious acts, and the 'dosel' where the banner is handed over to the 'quinta' that will organize the festival the following year. It is a very unique festival, a sign of our local identity and culture, declared a Provincial Tourist Interest Festival in 2021."

The town of Nules begins this week the preliminary events for the Sant Vicent festivities, to be held next Monday, April 13, featuring a program that includes the traditional parade, declared a Provincial Tourist Interest Festival.
The Quinta of 1999 is responsible for organizing this year's celebrations. Events will commence on Thursday with the inauguration of a traditional attire exhibition at the Nules Multifunctional Venue, showcasing the official clothing of all Sant Vicent 'quintas'.
On Friday, the Quinta of 1999 will host a day of fellowship with the preceding and succeeding 'quintas', as well as the 'quinta' celebrating its 25th anniversary. These events serve as a prelude to the main weekend celebrations.
On Sunday, the Quinta of '99 will parade to the Plaza Mayor, where the 'dosel' (religious banner) in honor of Sant Vicent Ferrer will be unveiled by the 'clavarios'. Torches of the Sant Vicent altarpiece will also be lit by the president of the Quinta of '99, and live music will be provided by Paco Peña.
On Monday, April 13, Nules will celebrate the Sant Vicent festivities, with a large attendance from the municipality and nearby towns. The parade will start at 9 AM in the Plaza Mayor and proceed through several streets, concluding back in the same square for the handover of the Sant Vicent banner to the Quinta of 2000, who will organize next year's festival. In the afternoon, a mass and procession will be held in honor of the saint.
The Department of Traditions of the Nules City Council collaborates with the organization, enhancing security measures with an additional ambulance and more public restrooms. This festivity, established by the Quinta of 1961, is deeply rooted among the residents of Nules.
