Nules City Council is carrying out various improvement works on its coastline with an investment of over 30,000 euros to ensure the condition of the beaches this summer.

The interventions, which are concentrated in strategic points such as Les Marines beach, the Gola area, and Bovalar beach, aim to repair the damage caused by storm Harry. Key tasks include sand replenishment and the repair of the accessible walkway for people with reduced mobility.
Additionally, the Provincial Coastal Service is working on the repair of the cells located on Illes Columbretes Avenue. The council has confirmed that the work schedule aims to complete all tasks before June 20th, the date when the lifeguard and rescue service will be activated.
The municipal government has highlighted the need for a comprehensive regeneration of the coastline and has criticized the lack of investment by the state administration in the area, reiterating that they will continue to demand broader actions to ensure the full recovery of the beaches.
