The Department of Traditions of the Nules City Council has highlighted the importance of these celebrations, which contribute to the continuity of local roots. The Festa de les Camareres, with origins dating back to 1909, will take place on Sunday, April 12. Meanwhile, the traditional San Vicente parade will be held on Monday, April 13, and this year is organized by the Quinta of 1999.
“"These days, tradition and festivity come together in one of the most relevant events celebrated in our municipality."
Councillor Ramón Martínez has emphasized the involvement and collaboration of the council in these events, with the aim of «maintaining, protecting, and promoting local traditions». As a sign of this commitment, this year the image of San Vicente, owned by the Monlleó family of Nules, has been restored and will participate in the procession in honor of the saint on Monday afternoon.
After the festivity, a round table will be organized with the Official Chronicler of Vila de Nules, Joan Gavara, and the image restorer, Inma Traver. This meeting will allow interested residents to learn about the entire restoration process of the figure.
Furthermore, the Nules City Council has reinforced the security arrangements for the parade, which gathers thousands of people from Nules and nearby towns. An additional ambulance has been incorporated, and the number of paramedics present on public roads has been increased to ensure the safety of attendees.
