Woman injured in traffic accident in Onda

Members of the Provincial Firefighters Consortium of Castellón extricated a 63-year-old woman this Thursday after a traffic accident on the CV-20, in the municipality of Onda. The driver was transferred to La Plana Hospital with multiple injuries.

Units from the Plana Baixa and Espadà Millars stations of the Provincial Firefighters Consortium of Castellón responded early this Thursday to a road incident on the CV-20, within the municipality of Onda. A single vehicle was involved in the operation.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the car's driver physically trapped. Consequently, the emergency personnel had to perform extrication procedures to free her.
The injured woman, aged 63, received initial assistance from a Primary Care medical team and a Basic Life Support (SVB) unit. She was subsequently transported by SVB ambulance to the Hospital Universitario de La Plana.
The causes of the accident and the victim's current condition have not yet been disclosed.
