The town in La Plana Baixa will be the setting for the second stage's conclusion of these competitions, which will take place between April 16 and 19. These events will bring together 20 national teams from around the world, including countries such as Italy, Mexico, Belgium, Norway, Portugal, Germany, France, and Great Britain.
The stage, starting in Altura and covering a distance of 94.3 kilometers, will conclude at the hermitage of Moncofa. Cyclists are expected to arrive around 3:00 PM, promising a top-tier sporting spectacle.
“"We are very happy to host an event of this international level, which places Moncofa on the world cycling map and allows us to showcase our municipality to athletes and teams from all over the world."
For his part, the mayor, Wences Alós Valls, emphasized the importance of these events for the municipality. He highlighted that they not only promote sports but also generate activity and projection, consolidating Moncofa as a destination prepared to host top-level competitions.
With this new finish line, Moncofa reaffirms its commitment to sports and the organization of internationally significant events. It is worth remembering that in 2024 the town already hosted the stage finish of the Women's Tour of Spain and in 2025 it was the venue for the Volta Ciclista a Castelló.
