'Growing Together' Forum Returns to Estepark to Address Parenting Challenges

Six experts will discuss key topics such as screen use, emotional education, and healthy habits in the event's second edition.

The 'Growing Together' educational forum holds its second edition on April 24 on the Estepark terrace, offering families practical tools and reflections on current parenting and education challenges.

Driven by Prensa Ibérica, this event has become a benchmark for parents, guardians, and educators interested in the comprehensive development of children. The event will start at 5:30 PM and will feature a children's play area for the little ones.
The program includes the participation of six speakers linked to the educational, sports, and personal development fields. A head of studies from British School of Vila-real Secondary will offer their perspective from an international educational context at 5:40 PM.
An ultramarathon runner will address childhood sedentary lifestyles linked to excessive screen use in their talk 'Screens vs. Sneakers: The Challenge of Educating in Motion' at 6:55 PM, highlighting the importance of fostering active habits from childhood. An educator will provide keys for respectful communication and emotional management in the talk 'What if Educating Were Easier? From Struggle to Connection' at 6:10 PM.
Among the presentations, a nurse will discuss choking in children, including prevention, recognition, and immediate action, at 6:25 PM. A child and adolescent psychologist will address cyberbullying, its identification, and prevention at 5:55 PM, complemented by an expert from Incibe (Valencian Cybersecurity Institute) who will speak about safe and responsible internet use at 6:40 PM.
This second edition, organized by Prensa Ibérica and the Generalitat Valenciana, is supported by entities committed to education and child welfare such as Bioparc and Terra Natura as global promoters, and British School of Vila-real, Ambulancias CSA, Todojuguete, Naturem, Ruralnostra, and Estepark as local promoters.
During the forum, Todojuguete will set up a children's play area, Naturem will offer juices for children, and Ruralcaja will distribute piggy banks and t-shirts.
