Generalitat Boosts Moncofa with 20 Million Euro Investment

The investment includes the expansion of the health center and the construction of a new secondary school to improve public services.

The Generalitat Valenciana has announced a global investment of 20 million euros in Moncofa, which includes the expansion of the Health Center and the construction of a new secondary school, to enhance public services in the town.

The president of the Generalitat visited today the expansion works of the Moncofa Health Center. This action is part of a global investment package of 20 million euros aimed at improving key infrastructures in the municipality.
Accompanied by the Minister of Health, the head of the Consell verified the progress of works that involve an investment of 2.5 million euros and will allow doubling the assistance area to more than 800 square meters.
The expansion of the health center will significantly increase its care capacity, going from three to five general medicine consultations and from two to four nursing consultations. In addition, the new space will allow the incorporation of future services and improve care for the population.

"This action is fundamental for our town. We appreciate the involvement of the Generalitat in adapting the project to the real needs of the municipality, including the construction of a second floor that was not initially planned."

Beyond the health sector, the investment plan includes other relevant actions such as the construction of a new secondary school, with an investment exceeding 13 million euros, scheduled to start this year.
In addition, a new pumping system for wastewater evacuation will be implemented, a long-demanded infrastructure that will have an investment of more than 2.7 million euros.
