Villarreal CF has begun a new phase of works at the Estadio de La Cerámica to continue improving its facilities and enhance the fan experience on match days. The project will advance key aspects such as improving access, security, and optimizing the internal services of the yellow club's venue.
Among the main interventions planned is the construction of new vomitories and distribution corridors, a measure with which the club seeks to considerably improve fan circulation within the stadium. The work is also aimed at reinforcing security and facilitating movement inside the venue during matches and other events.
The project also includes the construction of a new building adjacent to the North Stand with a Tribuna. This space will house new areas for sports use, parking, and other services designed to improve the overall functioning of the stadium and the attendee experience.
With these works, Villarreal CF continues the evolution of the Estadio de La Cerámica that began with the major transformation of the yellow team's ground in 2023, coinciding with the club's centenary year. That renovation marked a new era for the stadium, and the club now aims to further establish it as a leading venue in Spanish football.
The entity highlights the stadium's proximity to its surroundings, its modernity, and the diversity of spaces and experiences it offers. The new project aligns with this vision: improving infrastructure without losing the identity of a ground deeply connected to the city and the 'grogueta' fans.
The club has also acknowledged that this improvement process may involve occasional adjustments in the distribution of some seating areas. Therefore, when the season ticket campaign for the 2026-27 season is presented, Villarreal will provide detailed information regarding the stadium's reorganization.
Season ticket holders who may be affected by the new distribution will receive individualized communication. Villarreal CF will offer them various alternatives to choose the option that best suits their preferences, aiming to ensure their comfort and maintain their connection with the team.
The entity will continue to report on the progress of the works as the project develops. The club's commitment is to keep improving the safety, internal circulation, services, and overall experience for all fans at the Estadio de La Cerámica.
