Villarreal CF presented its first kit for the 2026/27 season on Monday, maintaining the traditional yellow color and incorporating a design inspired by water movement, made from recycled polyester.

The team will compete in LaLiga, the Champions League, and the Copa del Rey with a new jersey that retains the club's characteristic yellow. The design features a jacquard inspired by water movement, aiming to add dynamism and personality under the slogan "Made to Flow".
A continuous blue stripe along the sides visually connects the jersey and shorts, while different textures between the front and back create greater visual depth. Forward Georges Mikautadze participated in the official presentation.
Sustainability is key to this kit, made entirely from recycled polyester derived from plastic waste. Sports brand Joma states that this process reduces carbon dioxide emissions associated with production.
To enhance player performance, the jersey includes a jacquard finish for increased breathability, the Micro-Mesh System with ventilation panels to promote moisture wicking, and Flatlock seams to minimize chafing. The silicone logo adds flexibility.
The new Villarreal CF home kit is now available for purchase at the club's official stores and will be the primary kit for the Yellow Submarine next season.
