Villarreal B achieved a three-all draw against Europa in a thrilling match that extended until the 96th minute, where goalkeeper Rubén Gómez was crucial in saving a decisive penalty.

The 'groguet' reserve team visited Can Dragó in an emotional encounter, where they managed to take an early lead. Albert García opened the scoring in the 2nd minute, giving Villarreal B the advantage. The team maintained its offensive initiative, creating several clear chances to extend the lead.
After several opportunities, Gaitán scored the 0-2 in the 35th minute. However, Europa reacted before halftime with an Olympic goal from Escoruela in the 45+6th minute, making the score 1-2 and reopening the match.
The second half started strongly for the home team, who equalized at 2-2 in the 51st minute thanks to Óscar Vacas. The Villarreal B coach made substitutions, and the changes had an immediate effect, with Nizar scoring the 2-3 in the 59th minute. The match continued at a frantic pace, with chances for both teams.
Europa equalized again in the 86th minute with another Olympic goal from Ghailan, making it 3-3. Tension reached its peak in the 96th minute, when the referee awarded a penalty to the home side. Goalkeeper Rubén Gómez became the hero of the day by saving the penalty, securing a point for Villarreal B.
This point, considered good for the team, will need to be validated in the next match. Villarreal B will face Sevilla Atlético next Saturday, the 16th, at the Mini Estadi, starting at 9:00 PM.
