The Popular Party municipal group in Almenara has registered a proposal to debate in the next plenary session the municipality's accession to the Red MAO, promoted by the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces.

The initiative aims for the Almenara town council to join this network of municipalities to access assistance and advisory tools for citizens suffering from illegal squatting. According to the party, the goal is to coordinate efforts and information to protect property owners and improve the institutional response to these types of crimes.
The municipal group points out that many residents are in desperate situations as they are unable to regain access to their properties. For the party, it is necessary for the council to take active measures to support victims and provide them with technical and legal assistance.
The Red MAO, created by the FVMP, aims primarily to facilitate collaboration between town councils to address the phenomenon of squatting. The proposal will be debated in the next plenary session to determine if the municipality will join this protection platform.
