The Centre Municipal de les Arts in Burriana has celebrated the 20th Anniversary of Jardí Artístic, a cultural and educational project that has marked two decades of artistic awareness for young children.

The institutional event, held at the Auditori Juan Varea, highlighted the work carried out over these twenty years in favor of artistic training, with a special emphasis on music, dance, and plastic arts. The event was presented by professors Laura Redón and Marta Cueco.
Institutional speeches included participation from the coordinator of Jardí Artístic, the director of the Centre Municipal de les Arts, the councilor for Culture, and Burriana's top municipal representative. During the celebration, a student who started in Jardí Artístic and is currently pursuing Professional Piano Studies, performed several pieces on the piano, showcasing the fruits of the training received.

"Jardí Artístic represents Burriana's commitment to artistic education and to a culture accessible to all citizens. These twenty years reflect the collective effort of many people."

The top municipal representative emphasized that celebrating this anniversary is to acknowledge an initiative that has left its mark on generations of residents not only in Burriana but also in surrounding towns. He added that Jardí Artístic is part of the city's cultural identity and will continue to receive full municipal support.
The celebration served as a meeting point for current teachers with former teachers and collaborators of the project. Former municipal representatives and Culture councilors who have been part of the center's history, as well as several councilors from the current municipal corporation, also attended.
As part of the anniversary, attendees watched a commemorative documentary that reviewed the evolution of Jardí Artístic over two decades, recalling its most significant moments and its impact on more than 5,000 students. Currently, the project has 195 students aged between 1 and 7 years.
The commemoration included the inauguration of an exhibition in the exhibition hall of CMC La Mercé. The exhibition, which can be visited until May 31, offers a retrospective with photos, stage props, handmade crafts, and yearbooks, among other objects, illustrating the project's trajectory.
