The Vila-real City Council has announced modifications to the urban bus service for the summer period, which will run from June 15 to August 30, aiming to improve connectivity to El Termet and L'Ermita.

During this time, line 2 of public transport will operate with a single route directly to El Termet, temporarily suspending variant L2A. Once the special service concludes, the regular service will be reinstated with the usual two variants, L2A and L2B.
The service will run daily, from Monday to Sunday, with departures from the Báscula stop every 45 minutes, between 10:00 AM and 11:30 PM. Additionally, during June and July, the line will serve the Sports High-Performance Centre, except for the last two departures of the day. In August, this stop will be excluded from the route due to the closure of the facilities.
This route adaptation will particularly enhance connectivity to the L'Ermita area and El Termet, including stops near the cemetery, Las Carmelitas, and L'Ermita de la Mare de Déu de Gràcia, facilitating travel to these highly frequented spots during the summer months.
The City Council emphasizes that this measure will promote mobility for citizens traveling to El Termet and L'Ermita, as well as for those using facilities like the Sports High-Performance Centre and the summer pool. The council highlights the importance of urban public transport in daily life, with 31,924 passengers having used the bus so far this year, reflecting its role as a sustainable mobility alternative.
