The visit of the Labora Bus to the town of Burriana has concluded with a balance of 46 people assisted throughout the day. The itinerant employment orientation service of the Generalitat Valenciana proceeded normally, offering information and personalized advice on the various employment and training programs offered by Labora, as well as publicizing other municipal resources.
Of the 46 people assisted, the demographic profile consisted of 26 women and 20 men. By age groups and collectives, the service provided advice to 12 people over 45 years old—of whom 11 were over 55—and to 11 young people, including 3 enrolled in the Youth Guarantee program. Likewise, assistance was registered for one person with a functional diversity and 9 users belonging to other non-priority groups.
Regarding citizen demands, the GVAJOBS platform led the consultations with a total of 20 interested attendees. For their part, 12 people requested specific help for preparing their resumes, 8 required information resources on employment from SERVEF, and 6 users sought guidance on training offers and available courses.
“"The proximity, the high participation, and the interest shown in the various employment and training programs that have been presented."
The Councillor for Active Employment Policies, Suni Fandos, highlighted “the proximity, the high participation, and the interest shown in the various employment and training programs that have been presented”. Fandos added that “direct contact with citizens is essential, as it allows us to identify specific needs in our neighbors and, at the same time, reinforce the presence and knowledge of the services that Labora and this City Council offer to improve employability in the municipality”.
