Fajardo expressed her concern about the situation, which she believes does not resolve the root problem and demonstrates a planned strategy of dismantling the public education system by the regional government of PP, with the support of Vox. The spokesperson emphasized that the Administration's response is late and does not guarantee real or quality inclusion, leaving families and professionals in a vulnerable situation.
“"They are cutting the most sensitive resources, those that attend to the most vulnerable, to favor other models that do not guarantee equality for all."
The situation has led to complaints from the educational community and highlights the shortcomings in addressing diversity in Vila-real classrooms. Fajardo insisted that this is not an isolated incident, but rather another example of what she considers a systematic punishment by the Department of public schools.
In this context, the Deputy Mayor recalled that last March, the Plenary of the Vila-real City Council approved a motion presented by Compromís to promote the figure of the personal assistant for people in situations of dependency. This initiative was presented as a tool to combat situations like the current one and to ensure that personal autonomy is an effective right from childhood.
“"Our priority is and always will be the well-being of the citizenry. For Compromís, politics is about putting resources at the service of people."
Finally, Fajardo reiterated her party's commitment to defending public education against what she considers 'frontal attacks' by the policies of the Consell, arguing that public services are the only guarantee of a just and inclusive society.
