The event brought together participants, collaborators, and jury members. Both the director of El Corte Inglés, José María Pereda, and the director of Cáritas Diocesana de Segorbe-Castellón, Francisco Mir, highlighted the artistic sensitivity and social commitment of the selected works.
The winners in this edition were Miguel Ángel Prades (Adult) for "Pics entre la boira", Carlota Samit (Youth) for "Pequeños guardianes del agua", and Anna Soler (Children) for "Polinizando el futuro". In the school category, Leonor Escriche (Burriana) with "El río de la vida", Jimena Torres (Vila-real) with "El cuidado empieza en la mirada", and Daniela Aranda (l’Alcora) with "La indiferencia" were awarded.
The exhibition of the photographs will be open to the public in the Ámbito Cultural hall of El Corte Inglés in Castellón until June 6. The award-winning images will also be available for purchase through a solidarity donation of 15 euros, which will be entirely allocated to the social purposes of Cáritas Diocesana Segorbe-Castellón.
The award ceremony will take place on June 8 at the Teatro del Raval Rafa Lloret, as part of Cáritas Diocesana's Donor Day. The organization has thanked the involvement of all participants and collaborators, emphasizing that each image represents a gesture of solidarity towards those most in need.
