Caixa Rural Vila-real Exceeds 3 Million Euros in Profits in 2025

The local financial institution consolidates its growth with a 26.71% increase in earnings and a strong social work program.

Caixa Rural Vila-real closed the 2025 financial year with a positive balance, recording a 26.71% increase in its profits, which exceeded 3 million euros, thus consolidating its growth trajectory.

The entity, integrated into the Cajamar Cooperative Group, has presented annual accounts reflecting this notable increase, primarily attributed to the boost in recurring income and rigorous expense control. With over 13,000 members and 29,000 clients, Caixa Rural Vila-real has seen its growth especially driven by off-balance sheet resources, with a significant evolution in investment funds and other savings products.
The entity's balance sheet figure reached 501.9 million euros, representing a 13.2% increase compared to the previous year. Share capital also experienced significant growth, standing at 21.1 million euros, up 10.7%, with a remuneration of 495,000 euros for members.

Credit quality has remained at excellent levels, with a very low delinquency rate of 1.49%, 20.74% lower than in the previous year and clearly below the sector average. This result is due to prudent and rigorous risk management. Retail credit grew by 19.9%, reaching 215.8 million euros.
A portion of this positive result, specifically 284,000 euros, will be allocated to increasing the endowment for the social work carried out by the Caixa Rural Vila-real Foundation, while 2.5 million will be allocated to reserves. The foundation has carried out intensive social, cultural, and inclusive work in 2025, promoting strategic projects such as XiCaEs, for people with special educational needs, and Neurovila, for those affected by acquired brain injury.
Additionally, the training program for seniors, the Generant Valors award, and the Efecte Vila-real business center, with 100% occupancy, have been maintained. The entity's Social Center has hosted over 200 cultural events, with an attendance of more than 25,000 people. The Aula Mentor platform, promoted by the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports and the Vila-real City Council, has also continued its activities.
