The main objective of this program, promoted by the Secretary of State for Tourism with the support of the FEMP, is to achieve a homogeneous level of excellence in all services enjoyed by a visitor within the municipality, thereby enhancing the tourist experience.
The implementation of SICTED will involve adopting quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement criteria that will benefit both municipal management and the local business community. Participating companies and public services will have access to specialized training, personalized technical assistance, collective workshops, and best practice manuals.
According to the Councilor for Tourism, Noelia Peris, joining the SICTED program is a fundamental tool for professionalizing and equipping the entire local tourism sector with higher quality standards. "This system will allow us to coordinate the efforts of the administration and local businesses to offer an excellent and unified experience to our visitors, highlighting our cultural, gastronomic, and coastal heritage," she emphasized.
