The Burriana City Council has taken a decisive step to reactivate the Sant Gregori PAI, assuming direct management of the project with technical support from Comaypa, to unblock a 2.5 million square meter development on the coast.

The Local Government Board has approved the definitive award of the technical and legal assistance contract to Comaypa, valued at 1,172,886.96 euros. This action will allow the council to assume direct management of Sector Sud-T.1 and guarantee the legal security of the entire urban process.
This move is key to launching one of the most important urban projects on the coast, covering an area of 2.5 million square meters on the seafront. With this decision, a new stage of municipal control over the development is consolidated.
The contract with Comaypa includes the preparation, management, and monitoring of all necessary documentation, with a maximum execution period of 19 months and financing distributed between the 2026 and 2027 fiscal years. The awarded company will be responsible for fundamental tasks such as the modification of the partial plan, the development of the integrated action program, and the urbanization projects.
In addition, the technical assistance also includes support for the expropriation project, necessary to complete the outer ring between camí la Cossa and the CV-18. This infrastructure is highly demanded to improve mobility and access to the maritime area.

"The government team has reversed a complex situation marked by a TSJCV ruling that annulled previous actions, and with this award, a new stage begins to promote a key project for tourist development and coastal transformation."

The council thus reinforces a strategy that has already allowed the recovery of 9,511,946 euros of public funds and the liquidation of the relationship with the previous urban agent, returning undue fees to the owners. This new scenario has the unanimous support of political groups, which increases the confidence of future investors.

"The situation of the owners has improved significantly compared to the beginning of the legislature, and the project is now moving forward with a more favorable and stable future."
