The event will publicly present the new LGTBI Diagnostic Report of Borriana and open a process for validating its conclusions with the citizens. The initiative will combine reivindicative and participatory activities to gather contributions from associations, municipal technical staff, representatives of the LGTBI collective, and residents.
The program will begin with an institutional welcome and the reading of the manifesto. Following this, the participatory workshop “Cineforum + Dialogue with data” will take place, serving as a space to contrast the results of the technical diagnosis prepared on the reality of the collective in the municipality. Social Services professionals, members of Xarxa Salut, representatives of local associative movements, and individuals linked to the LGTBI collective will participate.
The dynamic will allow for the identification of priorities and the collection of proposals to guide future municipal actions in equality and diversity. As part of the day, the short films “Heartbeat” and “Por un beso” will be screened, serving as a starting point for a subsequent discussion moderated by municipal technical staff and representatives of the LGTBI collective.
The program will conclude with the illumination of the consistorial facade in the colors of the LGTBI flag, a symbolic initiative to show adherence to the international Pride commemoration. The Councilor for Social Services, Isabel Monfort, stated that the diagnosis aims to serve as a tool for fostering collective reflection and dialogue.
