Burriana's beaches have revalidated the Q Tourist Quality Flag, a distinction that recognizes the quality of services, facilities, and the municipality's coastline management. The certification, awarded by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality, reinforces the town's position as a coastal destination with accredited standards in service, safety, cleanliness, and accessibility.
The recognition comes after passing independent certification audits. These controls have evaluated aspects such as daily cleaning of sand and water, sanitary control of beach bars, provision of safety, rescue, and first aid services, hygienic conditions of public facilities, and information provided to visitors.
The Q Tourist Quality also certifies that Burriana's coastline has public facilities aimed at improving the experience for residents and tourists. These services include selective waste collection, tourist information offices, designated recreational and sports areas, gastronomic offerings, and an accessible bathing area equipped with crutches and amphibious chairs.

The Councilor for Tourism, Noelia Peris, expressed her satisfaction with the renewal of this recognition. The councilor also wanted to "thank the great effort of the municipal technicians and operators who work daily to ensure our coast looks its best and maintains this prestigious seal of excellence."
With this renewal, Burriana maintains a distinction awarded annually to tourist spaces that meet specific quality, safety, service, and infrastructure requirements. The accreditation joins the set of resources the municipality activates to enhance the management of its beaches during the peak season.
