Brothers Aray and Adur, aged 19 and 14, enjoyed a unique experience accompanying Villarreal CF on their trip to Girona, thanks to a draw for Mediterráneo subscribers.

This experience, which took place during Easter 2026, marked their first trip together without their parents, offering them a full immersion into the world of professional football. The youngsters expressed their satisfaction with a smile, highlighting the uniqueness of the opportunity.
The journey began with a flight alongside the team's expedition and accommodation in the same hotel, a circumstance that allowed them to perceive the close-knit atmosphere. The older brother recounted the beauty of the hotel and the views, as well as a morning route they took, emphasizing the feeling of being part of the team.

"It was amazing, our father let both of us come. Experiencing a Villarreal trip from the inside has been incredible."

Initial shyness gave way to interaction with the players and coaching staff. They managed to get photos with Sergi Cardona and Santi Comesaña, who were approachable. Although a photo with coach Marcelino García Toral remained pending, the experience at Montilivi stadium was memorable, despite the sporting result.
The brothers highlighted the difference between watching football on television and experiencing it live, appreciating the proximity to the players and Marcelino's instructions. This adventure, their first big shared getaway, has left them wanting more, already thinking about future destinations.
