The À Punt program 'Terra de festes' airs this Friday, April 24, a new installment that explores the most deeply rooted celebrations in the municipalities of Nules, Gavarda, and Busot, highlighting their tradition and popular participation.

The show, produced in collaboration with the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, focuses on these three towns where tradition, music, gunpowder, and community involvement continue to mark the festive calendar of the Valencian Community.
One of the stops in this new edition is Nules, in La Plana Baixa, where the program's team showcases one of the town's most beloved festivals in honor of Saint Vincent Ferrer. This celebration, organized this year by the 'quintos del 99', includes massive parades filled with floats, music, and tradition. Among the most notable moments are the bonfire, where carts and horses test their skill, and the symbolic act of transferring the banner between 'quintas'. The day culminates with a solemn procession that brings together several generations of residents.
The program also travels to Gavarda, in La Ribera Alta, where the town intensely celebrates its main festivals dedicated to Saint Vincent Ferrer and the Immaculate Conception. Here, acts with high participation are closely observed, such as the gathering of 'festeros', which concludes with a multitudinous mass. Additionally, there is participation in the parade where toys and sweets are distributed among the youngest, and the town is accompanied in the solemn procession of Saint Vincent Ferrer, which ends with a fireworks display.
The third stop on the tour arrives in Busot, in L’Alacantí, where the Moors and Christians festivals in honor of Saint Vincent and Saint Joseph fill the streets with music, color, and spectacle. The Entrance of bands, one of the most emblematic acts, is experienced, and the protagonists are accompanied in the preparations prior to the grand parade. 'Terra de festes' also shows the Entrance of Moors and Christians, with the six 'comparsas' of the municipality, as part of a festival recognized as a Provincial Tourist Interest Festival.
With this new installment, 'Terra de festes' once again highlights the richness and diversity of popular celebrations in the Valencian Community, with special attention to the weight of tradition and the high community participation that many municipalities cherish.
