Burriana Unveils Official Fallas Calendar for 2027, Highlighting Key Dates

The Local Fallas Board has approved the schedule, covering events from the Dansà to the Cremà.

The Sectorial Council of Burriana's Local Fallas Board has released the official calendar for the 2027 Fallas season, outlining the most significant events from spring through the final Cremà.

The new festive cycle will commence on May 10 with the traditional Dansà a la Mare de Déu and the procession of the Mare de Déu dels Desamparats. Subsequently, on May 15 and 16, the official visit to the assembly of the Cruces de Mayo and the corresponding awards ceremony will take place.
Summer will also feature several celebrations, including the Paiporta de Sant Joan on July 4, the procession of the Mare de Déu del Carme on July 16, and that of the Misericòrdia in Grao on August 15. The month of August will conclude with the festivity of Santa Bárbara, scheduled for the 30th.
One of the most anticipated moments, the election of the Fallas Queens of Burriana 2027, will occur on Saturday, August 29, following a process that includes the submission of documents on August 24 and various trials. The proclamation of the new representatives will be on November 7, and their exaltations will be held on November 14 and 15.

The winter calendar will reserve ten weekends for the presentations of the commissions, distributed between December (5, 12, and 19), January (9, 16, 23, and 30), and the first three weekends of February (6, 13, and 20). February will also host preliminary events leading up to the main week, such as Sant Blai on February 3, the Pregó and Crida on February 21, the Entrada de Ninots on February 24, and the Pleitesías on February 26 and 27.
The Fallas season will culminate with Fallas week, featuring the Plantà on March 15, and the Ofrenda and Cremà which will bring the Josefina festivities to a close on March 19.
