The Betxí City Council has commenced renovation and expansion works on the municipal fronton, located on Sant Josep Obrer Avenue, with an investment exceeding 1.6 million euros to modernize this sports and cultural infrastructure.
The project, awarded to the company Civicons Construcciones Públicas for an amount of 1,620,164.90 euros (VAT included), represents a definitive step towards improving the facilities. The works will be carried out over the next eight months, aiming to transform the current fronton into a more functional space adapted to the municipality's needs.
“
"Now, the fronton project moves from paper to reality. It is one of the most important actions in the municipality in recent years and responds to a historical demand from the neighborhood."
The planned intervention includes the expansion of the enclosure, improvement of climatic comfort and acoustic insulation, the incorporation of new sanitary services, and the creation of adapted accesses to the new design. These enhancements will allow the fronton to host both sports activities and cultural events, increasing its versatility.
“
"This project not only improves a facility but transforms a space to put it at the service of the people, with more possibilities for use and better conditions."
