The Betxí City Council has commenced renovation and expansion works on the municipal fronton, an initiative valued at 1,620,164.90 euros that will transform the space into a more modern and versatile sports and cultural facility.

The works, which began on April 7, have an execution period of eight months and represent one of the most significant infrastructure investments in the municipality in recent years. The main objective is to transform the facilities, located on Sant Josep Obrer Avenue, into a more functional center adapted to current needs.
The intervention includes a considerable expansion of the venue, improvements in climatic comfort and acoustic insulation, the incorporation of new sanitary services, and the creation of fully adapted accesses to ensure accessibility for all users.

"The project is now being executed after years of planning and is a priority action for the municipality. The initiative responds to a historical demand from the residents and will allow the space to be put at the service of the town with more possibilities for use and better conditions."

Carla Nebot · Mayor of Betxí
The mayor of Betxí, Carla Nebot, emphasized the importance of this project, highlighting that its execution comes after a long period of planning. According to Nebot, this action responds to a historical demand from the citizens and will allow for a versatile space capable of hosting both sports activities and cultural events, thus improving the range of facilities available to the entire population.
