The project, supported by a grant from the Generalitat Valenciana, aims to ensure the conservation of this building, which is declared a Bien de Interés Cultural (Asset of Cultural Interest). The work focuses on correcting structural issues, such as cracks in the walls and humidity problems, as well as improving roof waterproofing and rainwater drainage systems.
One of the most significant improvements is the creation of an accessible route through a ramp integrated into the surroundings. This action seeks to facilitate access to the building without compromising its historical value. The church, built in the 14th century and located in the Calvario area, is one of the most relevant examples of Valencian Gothic architecture.
“"We are very satisfied with the progress of the work because it is moving according to plan and will be finished in August so that all residents can once again enjoy this beloved and representative space of Torreblanca."
