The conference, titled Sports Management in the Face of a New Scenario of Change, took place this Thursday at CaixAlmassora. The event was attended by the general director of Sports and the president of the Association of Professional Sports Managers of the Valencian Community, along with members of the entity's board of directors and sector entrepreneurs.

The mayor emphasized the importance of these initiatives for continuing to advance in the improvement of the sports sector. She highlighted that it is a time of change where sharing experiences and knowledge is key to adapting sports management to new challenges, valuing the conference as a space for reflection and joint learning.
Furthermore, it was noted that Almassora has ten municipal sports facilities and twenty sports clubs. The Municipal Sports Service (SEM) has registered an average monthly figure of 1,511 users, a significant increase compared to 1,080 in 2022, indicating exponential growth in sports practice at local facilities.
