The Torre de la Sal beach in Cabanes (Plana Alta) has reopened for swimming after water analyses confirmed that fecal contamination levels have returned to normal.

The Directorate General for Environmental Quality and Education has authorized the reopening of Torre de la Sal beach in Cabanes, after a sample taken on Tuesday exceeded the permitted levels of fecal contamination, indicating a possible residual origin.
The Cabanes City Council announced via social media that, according to the latest water examination results, which comply with current regulations, the beach is now open for swimming.
The council expressed gratitude for the professionalism of the specialist teams managing the situation and for the public's cooperation in respecting the restrictions until normality was restored.
