The Civil Guard has immobilized over 300 toys in an establishment in Castellón de la Plana after detecting that they did not comply with current safety and labeling regulations, as reported by the agency.

The operation, carried out by the Fiscal and Border Patrol (PAFIF) of Oropesa del Mar, led to the seizure of a total of 310 toys that were being commercialized without meeting the required legal standards.
During the inspection, agents found that the products lacked Spanish labeling and did not include mandatory safety information, nor identifying data for the manufacturer, importer, or distributor.
These irregularities constitute a presumed infringement of Royal Decree 1205/2011, which regulates toy safety, leading to the sealing and immobilization of the items.
The seized toys, valued at 828.90 euros, remained under the custody of the establishment's manager and at the disposal of the Territorial Service of Commerce, Crafts, and Consumption.
The Civil Guard has reiterated the importance of products intended for the public, especially those aimed at minors, complying with all safety and labeling guarantees to prevent potential risks.
