A significant industrial fire broke out at an almond processing company in the Vall d'Alba industrial estate, mobilizing nine fire crews and causing the main warehouse to collapse.

The Castellón Fire Consortium has been working intensively since 2:00 PM on Tuesday to extinguish a spectacular industrial fire. The blaze originated at a company dedicated to almond processing, located in the industrial park of Vall d'Alba.
To tackle the emergency, nine fire crews, a 35,000-liter water tender, two command units, and one headquarters unit have been deployed to the scene. Upon the arrival of the emergency services, all personnel from the warehouse had already been evacuated, with the company's Self-Protection Plan being correctly implemented.
The fire developed rapidly, currently affecting the entire 10,000 m² warehouse and causing its structure to collapse. Firefighters are now focusing on defending the almond company's office building and protecting other nearby businesses.
As a precaution, these neighboring businesses have also been evacuated, although none of them have been affected by the fire. No personal injuries have been reported. The Generalitat Valenciana has activated its Territorial Emergency Plan of the Valencian Community at Situation 0.
