The XXVII Trade, Agriculture, and Livestock Fair in Vall d'Alba has opened its doors to a large influx of visitors, establishing itself as an economic and cultural showcase for the region.

From early morning, the fairgrounds, located between Castelló and Vilafranca avenues, have welcomed numerous people from across the province and beyond, eager to enjoy the inaugural day. Visitors have been able to explore the nearly 120 stands set up, featuring businesses, shops, and producers from both the province of Castellón and other areas.
The day began at 10:00 AM with the opening of the fairgrounds and continued at 11:00 AM with the official inauguration of the XXVII edition. This included a visit to the stands and the distribution of a fair souvenir by the Queen, Ladies, and Gentlemen, with the collaboration of the Associació Musical Valldalbense and the theater group l’Eixam.
Throughout the morning, the program offered activities for all ages, such as the family game session “Quan la terra esdevé joc”, held between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM on Vilafranca Avenue. There was also a theatrical tour “Els feliços anys vint a la Plana de l’Arc”, starting in Constitución Square.
The fair features a livestock exhibition and active participation from local businesses and neighborhood associations, which help reinforce the participatory and deeply rooted nature of the event. The day will continue in the afternoon with festive proposals, such as the afternoon party with discomobile “The End” starting at 6:30 PM, and will extend into the night with the Bandalay Kintos 26 discomobile in the municipal pavilion.

"The Fair is not just an economic showcase; it is also a way to return to our roots and highlight our identity as a town. We want visitors not only to tour the fair but also to experience Vall d’Alba, our gastronomy, our people, our way of life, and our pride in what is ours."

Throughout the day, the Fair solidifies its position as a major showcase for the economic fabric, where visitors can learn firsthand about products, services, and traditions linked to trade, agriculture, and livestock. The Fair will continue tomorrow, Sunday, with new dynamic activities and the traditional parade by the Grup de Danses de la Vall d’Alba, before its closing at 8:00 PM.
