The fire broke out in an abandoned cultivation area where tires and various items were accumulated, mixed with dry vegetation, near the train tracks. The swift intervention of the firefighters allowed the situation to be controlled.

Initially, two firefighting units and a command unit from the Plana Baixa station were dispatched. Subsequently, an additional unit from the Generalitat Valenciana's forest services (GVAbforestals) joined to reinforce extinction efforts as the fire evolved.

Finally, the fire was completely extinguished. According to the information released, there were no personal injuries. The rapid operational response was key to controlling the spread of the fire, which developed in an area with dry vegetation and disused agricultural land.
