The Almassora City Council has unveiled the bullfighting program for the Santa Quitèria 2026 festivities, which will include 15 'cerril' bulls from renowned ranches and the collaboration of various local clubs.

The program will kick off on Saturday, May 16, at 12:00 PM, with the traditional running of six bulls from the Extremaduran ranch Carmen Valiente. Subsequently, at 1:00 PM, one of the two 'bous del poble' sponsored by the City Council will be exhibited.

"The involvement and effort of all the clubs make it possible for Almassora to have a high-level bullfighting program. The 'bous al carrer' are a fundamental part of our festivities and our popular culture, a tradition that is part of our identity and that we continue to preserve thanks to the commitment of the clubs and the fans."
