Almassora awards the best bulls from the Santa Quitèria festivals

The best breeding farms, fan clubs, and specimens exhibited during the municipality's patron saint celebrations are recognized.

Almassora has held the awards ceremony for the bullfighting events of the recent patron saint festivals honoring Santa Quitèria, recognizing the best bulls exhibited and acknowledging the participation of local breeding farms and fan clubs.

The Recinte Fester in Almassora hosted the bullfighting awards ceremony, which honors the best bulls from the recent patron saint festivals. The event was attended by bullfighting fan clubs, municipal authorities, and industry representatives.
The award for the best bull of the bullfighting lineup went to a specimen from the Toros de El Torero breeding farm, exhibited on Saturday, May 23rd. This award, valued at 600 euros, was sponsored by Caixalmassora and promoted by the fan clubs El Caragol and El Trasto.
In the 'best presence' category, the bull 'Golfo', also from Toros de El Torero, received the recognition sponsored by the Association of Bullfighting Fan Clubs of Almassora (APTA).
The award for the best 'embolada' (bull running with horns) went to specimen number 35 from the breeding farm of Carmen Valiente, sponsored by the fan club Gent del Bou. For the best 'eixida' (bull's exit), the prize was awarded to a bull from D. Arcadio Albarrán, supported by the fan club El Comboi and presented by the fan club El Deklive.
In the breeding farm category, the top three recognized farms were, in order, Hermanos Benavent, Hermanos Bellés, and Hermanos Cali. The best cow of the week was 'Mariposa', from the Hermanos Benavent breeding farm.
The event was attended by representatives of the municipal corporation, including the mayor Maria Tormo and the Councilor for Festivals Arturo Soler, along with the festival queen, Martina Caparrós, and her court of honor.
