The town of Almassora begins today the patron saint festivities in honor of Santa Quitèria, which will run until next May 24th with a wide range of cultural and festive offerings.

The municipality is preparing for an intense agenda with nearly 150 activities designed for all audiences. The official start will take place this midnight with the traditional Esclat de Festa, which will be launched from the balcony of Ca la Vila, turning the Plaza Mayor into a meeting point for hundreds of residents.
The festive day began early with various cultural proposals. Among the highlights, the exhibition Natura Viva was inaugurated at the town hall's Espai Obert, followed by the exhibition Enrique Agut, color d’una vida at the Espai Mercat. Likewise, the Els Llauradors hall at CaixAlmassora is hosting the exhibition Recordar para no olvidar.

"I encourage all residents to intensely enjoy festivities that represent the best of our traditions and our way of living them in coexistence, respect, and brotherhood."
